Today, I will be discussing steps and some necessary Gmail shortcuts which will help you in improving your speed in using Gmail.
Steps to enable Gmail shortcuts are as follows ( for Computer only).
1) log in to your Gmail account and open Gmail on your computer.
2) then open the settings button you will see this page 👇👇
3) When you will open 'See all Settings' scroll down you will see Keyboard Shortcuts which by default will be turned off. Turn it on, and now you can use Gmail Shortcuts.
List of important Keyboard Shortcuts of Gmail
1) To insert a link in Gmail
The shortcut to insert a link in Gmail is Ctrl + K
2) To make a particular sentence Bold
Firstly you have to select the text which you have to make bold then press Ctrl +B, then your sentence will become bold.
3) To underline a sentence in Gmail
Firstly you have to select the text you want to underline then press Ctrl + U. Your selected text will be underlined.
4) To send a mail without clicking send button
To send mail we have to press send button, but we can also send using a shortcut which is Ctrl + Enter.
5) To compose mail without clicking compose tab.
There is a shortcut to directly open compose tab using only a single alphabet. To perform this shortcut press C.
